Water Safety Day

In recognition of International Water Safety Day (May 15, 2020), our friends at the Hampton Lifeguard Association have developed a Water Safety brochure with something for all ages.
Within find resources and guides on water safety for:
  • Pre-K & Kindergarten
  • 1st & 2nd Grade
  • 2nd & 3rd Grade
  • Teachers & Parents
Plus, for kids of all ages, there is a fun water safety coloring book—downloadable is in English and Spanish.

DEAR EDUCATORS,
We hope you are all safe and well. This year, in preparation for our summer swimming season, The Hampton Lifeguard Association is asking that you will help spread our message as we lead up to International Water Safety Day on May 15th, and National Beach Safety Week in the week leading up to Memorial Day.

The mission of the Hampton Lifeguard Association is to WATERPROOF LONG ISLAND’S SOUTH FORK and beyond through education and training. In order to promote the safe use and enjoyment of our many water resources in all communities, we provide assistance and participation in water safety programs and lifeguard activities that maintain the well-being of its members and the surrounding communities. In addition, we uphold a high standard of lifeguarding through training and lifeguard competitions for all age group programs.
